When the versatile and innovative duo formed by the singer Alicia Nilsson and the guitarist Martin Weiss met in 2019, it was love at first sight, personally and musically. The couple immediately began collaborating and sharing their passion for music. By merging their talents, styles and skills they’ve created a unique and special sound.
As performers, arrangers and composers with more than 20 years of experience, this powerful duo produces and performs music in all styles.
In recent years they have produced the music for various theatres and circus shows in Europe in which they have also performed live. Also in 2022 they had the great pleasure and honour of being the opening act for the legendary band Kool & The Gang in Germany. After publishing the acoustic album Gracias A La Vida 2020, in March 2023 they've released their brand new summer single The Island In You. Currentely they are touring with the powerful music show Saturday Night Disco performing in the biggest theatres and auditoriums of Spain. Besides the show tour the duo keeps sharing their passion playing on high class venues and events in Mallorca and Europe.
ALICIA NILSSON
Alicia is a captivating singer and entertainer with a rich blend of Argentinian and Swedish heritage. Her powerful voice, vibrant personality, and charismatic presence have enchanted audiences worldwide. Hailing from a family of artists, she has spent years touring with various circuses, perfecting her craft. Since making Mallorca her home in 1999, she has launched a successful singing career, bringing her exceptional talent to numerous esteemed corporate events and private parties, entertaining international celebrities like Franz Beckenbauer, Ryan Giggs, Jordi Mollá and many more. Following a remarkable tour with Symphonic of ABBA Alicia has emerged as a sought-after lead singer, collaborating with renowned bands and artists throughout Europe including notable projects like Play it Forward with the original band of Joe Cocker. Alicia sings in five languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese, showcasing her versatility and broad appeal.
MARTIN WEISS
Martin is a distinguished guitarist and a prominent figure on the European music scene. After his jazz guitar studies in Arnhem, Netherlands, he collaborated with several international artists, including legends such as Gloria Gaynor, Chris de Burgh, Johnny Logan, and Percy Sledge. His playing stuns audiences, showcasing his skills, passion, and unique sound. He can be gentle and smooth with his acoustic guitar, yet he can also roar, catching everybody's breath with his dynamic and electrifying performances. In 2002, he showcased his skills as a composer and producer with his Latin-Jazz album Coming Home for his former band, Hermosa. His contributions to Joy Fleming’s Eurovision album Joy To The World, along with his extensive work for Germany’s top-selling guitar magazines guitar and guitar acoustic from 2005 to 2021, have further solidified his reputation as an producer.
